Official Refusal by the Faculty of Medicine to Verify Dr. Hamer’s Discoveries (1982)

This letter represents one of the first acts of academic censorship against the discoveries of Dr. Ryke Geerd Hamer.
The Faculty of Medicine officially refused to verify his results, avoiding any kind of scientific comparison or objective review.

Although it was not a formal “prohibition,” in practice it acted as a deliberate institutional blockade that prevented German New Medicine from being recognized or even discussed within the academic sphere.
In this way, the door was closed to a debate that could have profoundly transformed the medical understanding of disease.

📜 It was the first time in modern history that a medical faculty refused even to review a scientific investigation presented with verifiable clinical results.
Such an extraordinary act can only be understood as a reflection of the fear of questioning the foundations of the traditional medical paradigm, which, instead of behaving as a science open to inquiry, acted as an untouchable dogma.
Because if the true purpose of medicine were to seek truth and alleviate human suffering, it would never have denied the opportunity to verify something that might save lives.

Dear colleague Dr. Hamer,

Yesterday, during our telephone conversation, you expressed the wish that I inform you in writing of the Faculty’s opinion regarding the verification of the results of your research.

Both the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine (Clinical Medicine) for the academic year 1981/82 and I, in my capacity as Dean for the current academic year, share the view that, for reasons of neutral evaluation, it seems impossible for us to cooperate in the examination of the results of your treatment method at this time.
